Discovery Education & XPrize Virtual Lab
eVision Interactive created an interactive “Virtual Lab” for Discovery Education andv Xprize. This Lab challenges high school students to create the most fuel efficient vehicle. The student selects variables, such as vehicle size, shape, frame material, and tire size. They also select different test conditions such as speed, track length, and additional weight in which to test their vehicle. After seeing their creation run around the test track, students are able to modify their vehicle to find the most efficient combination possible.
